This year, AMCEL – Amapá Florestal e Celulose S.A. was one of the companies supporting the 'Santa Claus dos Correios' campaign, carried out by Empresa de Correios in Amapá. More than 40 letters were adopted, sent by boys and girls from schools in the municipality of Santana.

The gifts were handed over on December 19th to the campaign coordinator, Adilson Pereira, who thanked the company for the initiative and congratulated the employees who became godfathers and godmothers by adopting the letters and fulfilling the children's wishes. Among the requests were dolls, balls, cars, bicycles and other gifts.

“I was once a child and I imagine how much they look forward to receiving gifts at Christmas every year. Being able to provide joy for these children was great!”, commented an employee.
